2009 Outstanding Graduates:
The 2009 Outstanding Graduates include (from left) Darin Headrick, humanitarian award; Scott Plunkett, education award; and Kent Wilson, business/professional award. Each recieved a trophy with their name and award engraved on the trophy. They were recognized during the Spring Reunion Banquet.

Outstanding Senior Award Recipients:
The 2009 Outstanding Seniors include (from left) Kenny-Joe Wallen, Jena Seiler, Anika Rohla, Stefani Overton, Heather Gottsch, Garrett Cline and Allison Cunningham. Not pictured is Balram Gautam. Each received a plaque and $100 savings bond at the Foundation’s Special Awards Ceremony April 25.

John Sheffield Teacher of the Year Award Recipient:
Melanie Wilderman receives the John Sheffield Teacher of the Year award from Kris Johnson, Student Government Association president, during the university’s Alumni Association Spring Reunion. Wilderman is an instructor of mass communications and Northwestern News advisor at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

T. C. Carter Recipients:
The 2009 T. C. Carter award recipients are (from left) Stefani Overton, Jessica Hartzell and Anika Rohla. Not pictured are Cary Cross, Shellie Floyd and Kimberly Martin. This award is presented annually to the graduating senior(s) with the highest grade point average.

Dr. Joe Dollins Merit Award Recipient:
Stefanie Overton is the 2009 recipient of the Dr. Joe Dollins Merit Award. This award is given annually to the student who has completed their student teaching professional semester.

John F. Kennedy Memorial Award:
Kenny- Joe Wallen is the 2009 recipient of the John F. Kennedy Memorial award. This award is given annually they the Student Government Association. The recipient must serve the university, the community, the country, display school spirit, promote the university, possess leadership skills, participate in organizations and strive for academic betterment and achievement.
