NORTHWESTERN ALUMNI TO HOST RANGER ROUNDUP AT LAKE PONCA

Kay County Northwestern Oklahoma State University alumni and friends are invited to reconnect at Ranger Roundup at Lake Ponca Thursday, July 14.  Barbecue sandwiches and homemade ice cream will be served at 6:30 p.m. at Lake Ponca shelter house #3.

“We’re looking forward to having all of the Kay County Rangers come together for a visit,” said Rich Cantillon, alumni board member.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet university president Dr. Janet Cunningham, and a drawing will be held for Northwestern door prizes.

To find the shelter, travel through Ponca City on 14th Street turning east on Lake Road.  Then turn left on Kygar Road and right on L.A. Cann Drive to Lake Ponca Park just past Pauline’s Supper Club.

The event is free and open to all area alumni and friends of Northwestern, but an RSVP is requested by Monday, July 11 to Cantillon, Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce, 580-765-4400.  For more information, please contact Lizabeth Richey, Northwestern Alumni Association director, at 580-327-8594 or lrrichey@nwosu.edu
