ALUMNI ASSOCIATION PLANS FAN BUS TO RANGER FOOTBALL GAME IN SOUTH DAKOTA
The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association is taking
reservations from Ranger football fans to ride a chartered bus to the
Saturday, September 13, regular season football game against Black Hills
State University in Spearfish, S.D.
Alumni director Lizabeth Richey said that on Friday, September 12, the
bus will begin loading on the east side of Ranger Field at 4:30 a.m. with
departure from Alva scheduled for 5 a.m. The bus will arrive at Mount
Rushmore around 6 p.m. for an hour of exploration at the national monument.
We will arrive in Deadwood, S.D. around 8 p.m. and stay the night at the
First Gold Gaming Hotel.
Entertainment for the evening will be at the leisure of the passenger.
The hotel will give $10 of promotional money to be spent at the hotel.
The Deadwood Jam, a two day musical extravaganza, featuring some of the
best country, rock, reggae and blues music all on one stage in historic
Deadwood, will be taking place. To check out who will be playing and when,

A discounted ticket price of $15 is offered. If you would like to go then
you need to specify when you RSVP.
Complimentary continental breakfast is available at the hotel and we
will be leaving for Spearfish, S.D. at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September
13. The Black Hills State Alumni Association has invited the group to
a tailgate before the game. Cost is $10 for all-you-can-eat brats, burgers
and drinks. Kickoff for the game will be 1 p.m.
Arrival back in Alva is estimated at 6 a.m. on Sunday, September 14.
Various meal and rest stops will be made to and from South Dakota.
Cost for this trip is $209 per seat and only 54 seats are available.
This includes bus trip and hotel expenses. The rooms are non-smoking,
double occupancy with two beds. A single room is available for an additional
fee.

The deadline, with a $50 deposit, is 5 p.m., Thursday, July 24 and final
payment is due by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 15.
Tickets for the game, meals, and incidentals are not included in the
bus fare. Tickets for the game are $7 and will be available for purchase
at the gate.
