  • Northwestern alumni task force to host Baseball, Hot Dogs & Apple Pie

    On Tuesday, April 8, Northwestern Oklahoma State University alumni and friends are invited to watch the Rangers take on Hillsdale Baptist in a double header baseball matchup at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid. The 4 p.m. game is part of Northwestern’s annual Enid-area alumni spring event, Baseball, Hot Dogs & Apple Pie.  The Rowdy Rangers, a Northwestern booster group, will begin serving free hot dogs and apple pie at 5:00 p.m.

  • SPEARS TO HAVE BOOK SIGNING, WILL SPEAK AT eXTREME, HOPETON CHURCH

    Willie Spears, a 2000 Northwestern Oklahoma State University graduate, will return to the Alva area on Saturday and Sunday, March 29-30, for a book signing and to speak. Spears recently completed his fourth book, “Transforming Your Life from Good to Great: Daily Nuggets of Wisdom,” and will be in Alva on March 29 at the Etc. Shoppe, 407 College, from 4 to 6 p.m.
